Ashington High School Barn Training
Jan 30, 2013, 7:48 pm

We have booked and paid for the indoor training at Ashington High School in the barn, we are unable to start on the 18th February, as it is half term week, so we will be starting 25th February for 5 weeks ending 25th March, start time 6pm till 7pm.

We plan to use this as a type of 6 a side sessions where all members attending will bat bowl and field, it should be fast and furious, fielders will be rotated and each player will bowl 1 over and the batters will bat in pairs for 2 overs. All you need is your bat as we will be using (orange) wing balls, the club will bring the stumps and balls etc.

We need as many members to attend as possible to make it worth while, it will cost £2.50 per person, so we can cover our costs.

See you all there, try to get to the school 10 minutes early so we do not waste any time, as we need to set up as quick as we can with us only having 1 hour.!!!!!!!!

Indoor Training
Jan 28, 2013, 11:47 pm

We are planning to book Ashington High School for a 6 week period from 18th February starting at 6pm for 1 hour. We intend doing quick cricket / 6 a side to get everyone moving around and involved.

Then in early April if the weather permits we are looking for outdoor nets twice a week until the season starts.

Members are looking forward to getting together and loosening up (well we will see after the first session how stiff they get afterwards) Instead of just bowling in the nets.
