Committee meeting to be held at Ashington Rugby Cricket Club in the tea room on Wednesday 11th January 6:30pm start, looking at the proposals of the league merger and others. Jan 1, 2017, 6:28 pm Best wishes to our members, supporters, family and friends for 2017. Our club would also like to give our best wishes to the umpires, league official's and clubs in the Northumberland Cricket League. Dec 28, 2016, 3:56 pm The two options put to our members either a midweek starting first week in January Monday or Wednesday 8-9pm and 9-10pm or a Sunday and we can pick a start date 3-4pm or 4-5pm both of these where at Ashington Sports Centre, however these where not favoured by the majority, so members have been asked if they can think of a place to go which has suitable days and times, this will be brought up at the AGM, so feedback would be appreciated. If members can suggest somewhere we can look into it, please respond to the Secretary or Chairman ASAP if you have an idea of where to go. Dec 27, 2016, 8:49 pm After consulting with our members our club AGM will be held on Wednesday 25th January 2017 in Ashington Rugby Club. It is important that members attend as it is your time to have your say as well as vote for your committee officials, club captains and vice captains. Please confirm with our Secretary that you can attend. Dec 18, 2016, 2:40 pm We plan to have our AGM on either Monday 23rd or Wednesday 25th of January 2017, our club Secretary is awaiting responses from members to which day is best, it you have not responded please do so ASAP. The meeting will be held in the Rugby Club with a 7pm start. Dec 9, 2016, 8:36 pm Northumberland Cricket League will be hold 3 sessions around the county in January,1 in the North, 1 in the South and the other in the Central Northumberland which will be held in the newly extended Ashington Rugby Clubhouse this session will be held on Monday 16th January at 7pm. Clubs will be asked to attend one of the meetings and we believe that clubs can bring between 3 to 5 members of their committees, this will allow the League to give the reasons for considering the merger and it will also allow clubs to raise any concerns they may have. Nov 21, 2016, 8:16 pm Over 65,000 views to our website since we launched in 2008, that's over 5,700 every year, not bad for a small cricket club. Nov 20, 2016, 2:33 pm Due to the number of members who said they would not attend nets starting 1st or 2nd week in January, with the time slots which were the same as last year 8pm till 9pm and 9pm till 10pm alternative weeks, for approximately 13 weeks. We are looking for a venue to have around 6 to 8 nets starting around the last week in February, let your chairman know if have an idea of a facility. We could use Ashington Sports Centre on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm till 5pm is an option as long as we have enough members willing to attend and the slots are still avaiable. |
